Nora Graves

Spirit – Passion – Imagination

The author Nora Graves leaning her head on a hand, smiling

I’m a sixty-something lit and creative writing professor at a private, faith-based university in central Florida. I’ve been in higher education since 1987. I have a string of degrees that will follow me into the grave but none that will follow me out.

I’m not so interested in things that stay in graves (despite my last name). I’m much keener on things that are life-giving, like strong relationships, imaginations grounded in truth, stories that take us into other dimensions of existence, and deep bonds with the natural world.

I do really hope my dog makes it to heaven.

I fear we all know where the cat is going.
